New Grand Champion!

Josh finished his Grand Championship this past weekend in big style. He took the breed Thursday for 3 points leaving him with needing 3 points to finish. Friday he repeated his Thursday win and finished his Grand Championship; to make Friday even better he received a Group Placement. He finished his Grand Champion in 4 weekends with 4-4 point majors and 3-3point majors: 6 of the wins were Best of Breed wins. Josh ended the weekend with 2 more breed wins and another Group Placement.

Saturday 6/9/12 was the Nutmeg Portuguese Club's Regional Specialty in Norwalk, CT. Jade was honored with Best Puppy in Sweepstakes by breeder judge Krista Hunt. Jade then went on to win her regular class under Dr. Eric Leibes. She was handled by her co-owner/breeder Jenny Krieger and looked so wonderful. Josh was shown by me and put on a really good performance. Other exciting news is Jade picked up a 3pt major the day before in New York. Our baby girl is on a roll!

We had a great weekend last weekend. Josh went Select Dog on Sunday for another major towards his Grand Championship and Jade went Winners Bitch for another two points. This weekend Jade is showing with her breeder/co-owner Thurs & Friday in NY and then in CT at the Nutmeg regional specialty on Sat. Josh and I will be meeting her down there for the show on Sat.

Big winners

Josh and Jade had a great weekend at the shows in Scarborough, ME this past weekend. Josh went Best of Breed all for days and picked up 4 - 4pt majors towards his Grand Championship (9more left). Jade was having a lot of fun learning the ropes and on Sunday went Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex for her first point. So proud of them :)

In just over two weeks Jade will be going to her first dog show. We are very excited to see how she does. She is growing up into a beautiful young lady.

We finally got Josh's new champion picture a couple weeks ago. We are so proud of our boy. He is training in water and rally right now as well as working towards his Grand Championship.
